Here, finally, is the long-awaited (by whom, again?) picture of the message board I made. I borrowed the idea from another blog, but chose everything from the pan to the quote myself. It was actually easy and inexpensive to make.
If you can believe it - it's hard, but try! - I think I'm going to attend the Needlework Night at church! Yep. I'll learn from the experts.
And what of this banking/economic mess? It's had very little effect on me so far, but will that last? Where exactly is the bailout money coming from? Is my food storage extremely well-stocked?
Have you listened to Amy Winehouse yet? I admit, she looks a fright, and acts even worse. Hard to deny her musical talent, though...if you're a fan of Motown, you'll go for this. It's modern, but with classical Detroit touches (from a British girl?!). Skip anything with naughtiness, obviously...discretion needed!
Additionally, if you haven't watched "Rat Race" yet, rush to your local VideoMart and pick it up! Be prepared to laugh hard enough that you may snort food or beverages out of your nose. Maybe just avoid snacks altogether while viewing.

The message board was well worth the wait- very cute & great message. Sounds like you'll have some needlework to display on your blog soon! :)
I think about our (barely existant) food storage a lot lately too.
Have not tried Amy Winehouse. She scares me. Besides, anything current I every hear is music that would be on Radio Disney.
I'll have to look for Rat Race I guess!
Oh yes! Rat Race is a must! Rat Race is one of those movies that we ran right out and bought when it came out on video. My kids and I have some of the words memorized ("I'm gonna get you stupid hardware guy!"). Funny movie.
As far as Amy Winehouse goes, I've only heard her once and like Nikki says, she is scary. Guess I'll have to dip into her music a little more.
Great message board Beth! And this coming from someone who says she isn't crafty???! Yes, you are! It's very crafty and cool looking. Plus, functional. I've been wanting to decorate a clip board like that. I might just do it on the one in the primary closet. :)
Oh, and that message board is something I'd come to enrichment to make -wink-. Hint to Caity.
Jon and I are always on the look out for good movies. Thanks for the tip on Rat Race. Love the quote and the message board you made. I'm not crafty but once in a while I even surprise myself.
A+ sister! That message board is so dang cute! Overachiever. :)
So I have a bone to pick with you, young lady. You are my source of all things Disney and you didn't tell me about Disneyshopping.com! I just stumbled upon it today and got some AWESOME deals. $5 shirts, lunch totes for $2.99... I was really impressed. Have you ever bought anything there? Also, what do you think of the Disney movie club thing? Money saver or rip-off? I feel like I spend a fortune on movies for my girls- specifically, "Ariel's Beginning" recently and "Sleeping Beauty" and "Tinkerbell" coming next month. You are my Disney Guru and I need your help here! How about a Disney Deals post? If you do it, will you also include ways to save money on D. vacations? You are a fount. :)
Megan - Disneyshopping.com is amazing! I bought pj's for $5, t-shirts, flip-flops for $2, and free shipping to boot. (They usually give you shipping free if you buy at least $50 worth).
If I DID do a Disney blog, it would really only be read by the handful of people who follow my blog now. But I could personalize it for you guys, right? :) Maybe soon...
